    What Is Hydroxyapatite?

    Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is a naturally occurring form of calcium that makes up 97% of tooth enamel and 70% of dentin. When used in toothpaste, HAp releases calcium and phosphate to remineralize and strengthen enamel*.
